2021 Graduation

Seniors. as this year comes to an end, here is some information regarding the 2021 graduation!

Seniors it is time to start thinking about your plans for graduation. As our high school career comes to an end, one of our last main focuses is graduation, which as of right now is still happening! Here is new information regarding the 2021 graduation.
This year graduation will be on May 19th, at Garry Berry Stadium, at 9 am. Seniors beforehand will all meet at Coronado and take buses in order to get to Garry Berry. Seniors you have to be at the Coronado parking lot no later than 5:55 am since buses will depart at exactly 6:00 am. From there seniors will be placed in their respective seats, which will be 6 feet apart, and go through the ceremony for the most part as we have done in years past.
After the ceremony students will be put back on the buses and brought back to Coronado where teachers will be handing out our year books and we will be able to do our yearbook signing party. The reason as to why we will get our year books later than the rest of the school is because Seniors cannot partake in anything that could possibly lead to exposure before graduation, in order to limit contact and make graduation more Covid safe!
Currently the policy for guests is that each graduating senior will be allowed 6 guests. Every in person guest will be required to show a graduation ticket at the front gate. If the guest does not have a ticket then they will not be allowed in. Tickets will be available for pick up in the administration office beginning Monday May 3rd. Seniors, you need to pick up your guest tickets prior to your last day of school on Tuesday May 11th. For the friends and family in your life wanting to watch you graduate, the ceremony will be live streamed for everyone to see, the link will be out soon!
Although Covid has taken away many opportunities from the seniors this year, we have to look on the bright side and appreciate anything we are given. Congrats to the 2021 graduating seniors, you made it through this year!
