Last years Market Day

Coronado High School is hosting Market Day again this year. It is organized by Ms. Brandt, and will be coordinated by the Coronado Business Club, and the Entrepreneurship classes. Friday, December 2, students will be making micro-businesses to sell to students and staff at Coronado. There will be over 20 different stands: from food, to art, to jewelry, all the way to a mini ecosystem that consumers can purchase.
Sebastian Wolfgram will be attending as a guest speaker and a business sponsor, talking to students about his experience with getting into entrepreneurship and running his own business. Not only is he still growing his business and running the business alone, but he is only 18 years old. He uses social media and many ways to advertise his business, making him a great role model.
Market Day will be in the auditorium all day. Last year was the first year it was hosted, and it couldn’t have gone better. “Students loved it,” Ms. Brandt said. She added that, “Not only was it tremendously successful, the students wanted me to put it on for more than one day… That was exciting. The students get to keep all the profits, so it’s a unique, true, entrepreneurial venture.”
