Powder Puff Football

Maddy Marcy, Co-Editor in Chief

On Thursday the 17th, the Senior and Junior Powder Puff teams faced off on the football field for a game of flag football.  The Powder Puff game is a tradition during Homecoming Week that gives the girls a chance to try out football, coached and supervised by the trained professionals, the varsity football players.

A fair amount of families and students showed up to cheer on the teams and show their support.

The game started off strong with the Seniors scoring early, and continued to go in the Seniors favor with a final score of 27-0. This head start took the Seniors through to the end of the game, not missing a beat and continuing to execute good plays. Cheering from the students and families occupying the track helped all the girls, and in the end win the Seniors a victory.

Overall, the Powder Puff game went well, allowing two groups of girls to go head to head in a competitive setting, while still enjoying themselves. Great job, senior girls!
