The end of the third quarter is on March 8th, 2023. With less than half of the school year left, students are eager for the summer, however, with the end of the quarter coming, there are bigger responsibilities for not only the teachers, but students as well.

While some teachers have a specific deadline for assignments, Mr. Hoffer, a history teacher at Coronado says that “It’s supposed to be done by departments. Teachers have some leeway in that, but not necessarily in all cases”

Yet, there are some cases where teachers can get approval to stretch the deadline. Hoffer adds, “I have had approval in the past if a student has been sick, or something weird is going on…so there’s ways to get around [the deadline].
