Though our homecoming is later than most, the hype is building as it fast approaches. It will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 7-10 p.m. in the Coronado Main Gym.
Some students are wondering what the theme means. The theme “Where’s the Party at?!”, decided by Coronado’s Student Council, implies lots of glitter, colors, and high energy. Ms. Ambroz, the student council supervisor, says the idea for the theme is for “Coronado [to be] the party.”
Along with homecoming, the week before is full of festivities. We will have a spirit day every day that we are in school, meaning that there will be fun attire on campus. Monday is Decades Day, Tuesday is dress your type/stoplight day, Wednesday is black out vs. white out, and Thursday is party animal. There is no school for students that Friday; however, the football game that night will be all red and gold, so make sure to show your school spirit!
