Coronado Boys Golf hosted the annual Cougar Classic golf tournament at Kissing Camels Country Club on September 7, a highly anticipated tournament held on one of the best golf courses in Colorado Springs.
Coronado regularly practices at Kissing Camels, a course known for its stunning scenery and meticulous maintenance.
Each of Coronado’s top eight golfers played in the tournament, as well as dozens of high school golf teams, competing against other golfers of similar skill level. Blake Williams, Class of 2028, said, “We look forward to the Cougar Classic all throughout the season.”
The Cougar Classic’s effect on Coronado’s golfers was described by Carson Greene, Class of 2026, who lost a tiebreaker for first place: “It makes you feel proud to be a Cougar.”
