The 73rd Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, January 10, honoring the best of 2015 in film. Productions like, “The Martian,” and, “The Revenant,” were recognized as some of the best of the year. Also, actors, actresses, directors and composers won awards for their work in 2015. Here are some of the honorees from the 73rd Golden Globes:
Best Motion Picture – Drama: “The Revenant”
Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy: “The Martian”
Best Motion Picture – Animated: “Inside Out”
Best Motion Picture – Foreign: “Son of Saul” (Hungary)
Best Actress Performance – Drama: Brie Larson in “Room”
Best Actor Performance – Drama: Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Revenant”
Best Actress Performance – Musical/Comedy: Jennifer Lawrence in “Joy”
Best Actor Performance – Musical/Comedy: Matt Damon in “The Martian”
Best Actress Performance in a Supporting Roll: Kate Winslet in “Steve Jobs”
Best Actor Performance in a Supporting Roll: Sylvester Stallone in “Creed”
Best Director in a Motion Picture: Alejandro Inarritu in “The Revenant”
Best Screenplay in a Motion Picture: Aaron Sorkin in “Steve Jobs”
Best Score in a Motion Picture: Ennio Morricone in “The Hateful Eight”
