March Madness Bracket Challenge
Test your NCAA knowledge
March 14, 2016
It’s that time of year. The time when teacher’s planning periods are spent on espn.com, family data plans are drained during class, and Bracketology is an actual word. March Madness is here. Prepare for yelling.
Every March, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, March Madness, takes over. This year will be no different as this could be a year filled with upsets, Cinderella stories, and brutal blowouts. In a year that has seen more losses by top-ten ranked teams than any other year since the rankings first began in 1948 and more losses by a #1 than ever, the Big Dance winner is really anyone’s guess…
The Cougar Daily is sponsoring a March Madness Bracket Challenge. All you have to do is print out a bracket and turn it in to room 408 before the assembly on Thursday, March 17. There is no cost to enter, but there will be fabulous prizes.
Winners will be decided by who best pick the first round (not counting the play-in games, obviously) on March 17-18th, who get the most Sweet Sixteen team correct (a nice prize coming back from Spring Break), and the Final Four/National Championship.
Tie-breakers will be decided impartially.
Winners will be announced on the Cougar Daily. So go ahead, make your best guess. Will the Hawkeyes beat the Owls? Will Buddy Hield and the University of Oklahoma prevail? You pick. You play. You win? You could.
