April 7^th-9^th, Coronado freshman, Jenna Salvat, 9, won the Colorado Science and Engineering fair in Fort Collins at 2^nd place with her project on Geology. She also got invited to the International Science and Engineering fair in Phoenix, Arizona on May 8^th-13^th. The fair is a very large event in the country and especially for the state of Colorado, bringing many students of all grades together to share their brilliant ideas and projects with the state and sometimes the country.

Salvat said, “It’s a way to be involved in something I’m passionate about and be able to conduct an actual science experiment.”

Congratulations to Jenna and all the other participators of this highly regarded opportunity in the world of sciences and if she chooses to go to the Internationals, Coronado wishes her luck in such a grand event.
