Coronado Varsity Soccer Loses to Vista Ridge

Some bright spots for the Cougars as they hope to turn things around.

Coronado’s Varsity Soccer team lost by a score of 6-0 against Vista Ridge last Tuesday. The team currently holds a record of 2-3.

There will be a game today, Thursday, September 15th, at Garry Berry stadium against the Northeast Warriors out of Denver.

Leading the team so far this season is Hayden Field, 10, with six goals, and Joey Callan, 12, with three goals and three assists through the first five games.

Gavin Rusky, 12, a goalie for the team, has had 49 saves.

The soccer team’s most impressive game through the season has been a win of 7-3 over Falcon, in which Hayden Field had a hat trick. scoring three goals in one game.
