A Spirit Day to Dye For

Sierra Meisner, Staff Writer

Tie Dye day proved to be yet another homecoming hit, showing the most amount of both student and staff participation by far. For many Cougars, this was an easy spirit day to accomplish, as they already have tie dye in their closets, the hippies. It was also very common to see some of the Cougars decked out in their tie dyed cougar gear from clubs and sports, like the track team’s shirts from the 2014-2015 season.

“I think we’re doing a lot better than last year with spirit days. I think we have really good ideas for spirit days this year, and I’m excited to see Coronado finally showing some school spirit,” said Isabella Janney, 10, who is on this year’s Homecoming Court as the sophomore lady royalty.

Tomorrow marks the end of Homecoming Spirit Week , with Mad Red and Gold Day. Typically this is the most participated in spirit day, and this expectations among the Cougars are high.

“For Mad Red and Gold day, I’m expecting people to go all out,” said Maddy Morland, 10.
Even though tomorrow marks the end of the spirit week, it is not the last chance to show your cougar pride. There are many school and sporting events this weekend and week including Powder puff tonight.
