Girls soccer brought home an exciting 8-0 win against Palmer on 4/13, after a disappointing loss to Liberty two days before. The two rival schools have always been fiercely competitive, and despite Palmer’s best efforts this year, the Cougars were able to score 8 goals and defensively, achieve a shut out.

Alexa Touchard, 9, Alex Brown, 11, Amelia Herman, 9, Hannah Burgess, 10, Lauren Strabala. 12, Isabella Janney, 10, and Brooke Williams, 10 all scored during the game, and Lauren Strizich, 9, and Lauren Strabala, 12, each had 2 assists.

Defensively, the Cougars shut out Palmer, and goalies, Julie Callan, 10, and Kylie Anderson, 11, made a total of only 3 saves during the game because of the efficiency of key defensive players like Sarah Ford, 9, and Lindsey Bergen, 11, who had 6 and 5 stops, respectively.

The Cougars don’t have any more home games this season, but the last game of the season is on 5/3 at 7 pm at the Lakewood Memorial Stadium vs. Dakota Ridge. Wish the Cougars luck for their final game!
