1/21 marked the 24th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

On 1/21, The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place in Los Angeles, California. Hosted by Kristen Bell, the awards show congratulated outstanding performances by men and women across cinema platforms.The awards show presented 13 actors and ensembles with awards for different types of performances, from stunts to leading roles. The presenters of the awards include Kristen Bell, Dakota Fanning, Olivia Munn, Niecy Nash, Maya Rudolph, Gabrielle Carteris, Gina Rodriguez, Halle Berry, Lupita Nyong’o, Mandy Moore and Marisa Tomei.
With the Screen Actors Guild awards under some these actor’s belts, viewers believe that the SAG awards are a near exact prediction if who will win the Oscars. In the past, those that have been nominated or won the SAG awards have been able to achieve Oscars as well, causing the rumors.
