At the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede on Friday, August 28th, our lady cougars took 3rd place overall with 103 points. They came in just behind Rocky Mountain with 91 and Boulder with 86. Top runners were Elana Muzzy, 10, who took 13th with a time of 20:43, Madeline Morland, 9, who took 15th with a time of 20:58 and Faith Roth, 9, who took 16th with a time of 21:07. Cougar runners not only got to show off their skills, but also try out the new state course at Bear Creek/Norris Penrose Event Center. Congrats, cougars!
