There is a new club at Coronado this year: SEDS, or Students for the Exploration and Development of Space!

Aidan Janney, 9, decided to start a Coronado chapter of this international organization because of his interest in space and technology. ” SEDS works to spread the message of the importance of Space exploration by promoting STEM. We are connected with the UCCS SEDS chapter so we will be working with them to do engineering and design projects related to space, including entering into rocketry competitions and working on projects involving satellite designs and methods of propulsion in space,” says Janney, “If you like science, space, or engineering, then SEDS is for you!”

The first meeting is Wednesday, September 12th at 7:20 am in Mr. Dosch’s room (room 105)!
