On September 2 and 3 from 3:15 to 5:15 PM, Coronado is hosting a workshop called PSAT Prep for the Future.

“Coronado students who score high in all three areas of their PSAT can qualify for scholarship funds,” said Mrs. Summers, Coronado counselor.

The focus of the program is to provide strategies and hints to help students score higher on the PSAT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test). The PSAT is not the same as the official SAT test; it is a practice test that students can take that will not affect their official SAT score in any way. It is recommended that students take the PSAT for practice and scholarship opportunities. The program costs $79 and can be signed up for at www.prepforthefuture.com

The actual PSAT test is on October 14 at Coronado and costs $20.
