The Cougar Coffee House, which took place on September 6th here at school, was a huge hit for students. Open mic performances were encouraged and several people shared their skills. The amazing acts included Elise Thompson, 12, singing, Mrs. Ambroz reciting a poem, Dylan Carter,  12, dazzling the audience with a magic show, Lance Starky, 12, giving everyone a good handshake, Isaac Thompson,12, playing the piano, Gia York, 12, singing, and many unforgettable others. “There is a coffee house every semester.” says Gia York, who has attended every one since her freshman year. This time around, Gia sang “Michael In The Bathroom,” a personal favorite of mine. Be sure to check out the next Cougar Coffee House second semester!
