MLB Cancels Season Mid-Game: FAKE, BUT GREAT, NEWS

Cubs vs. Rockies in the Wild Card Game lead to a surprising move by the commissioner of Major League Baseball.

In an unprecedented move, Major League Baseball decided to call an early end to their 2018 season on Oct 2nd.  The decision came as the Cubs were tied with the Rockies and the bases were loaded for Chicago’s Jason Heyward.

The league says that baseball can just take a break now and pick it up again at Spring Training in a few months.

What this means for the sports world is that the Cubs are the presumed winner of the NL Wild Card game, and since they have the only presumed win in the post-season, they are named World Series Champions, by default.

While owners, greedy for more money, and TV stations, greedy for more money, will still play what amount to exhibition games just to generate revenue, true baseball fans know that the official season ended as the Cubs were, presumably, about to take the lead.  The two teams may have even had a scrimmage-like ending to the game on Tuesday, none of those results are binding and the Cubs are declared the winners.
