Come Over When You’re Sober (pt.2) by Lil Peep

Gustav Elijah Ahr, better known as his stage name Lil Peep, tragically passed away on November 15th 2017,but his management team put the finishing touches on his sophomore album, Come Over When You’re Sober pt.2, and released it on November 9th 2018. It includes 11 alternative hip-hop songs, with a few of them being previously released and some brand-new ones, including fan favorites such as “Cry Alone” and “Life Is Beautiful”, with 25 million views on YouTube. Personally, I prefer “Cry Alone” as well, because it’s mostly alternative rock, which I enjoy. I think that making a final release after Gus’s death was a truly honoring thing to do, as his mother, Liza Womack, had a huge role in producing the album. At a memorial for her son on December 2nd, 2017, Liza shares the emotional words as a closing for her thoughtful and loving speech, “I am so proud of him, you have no idea.” Everyone in attendance was a friend or a family member of Gustav Ahr.  If you have been a fan of Lil Peep’s previous works, don’t miss out on the Come Over When You’re Sober part 2 experience.
