What’s Up With Bowling Club?

Elle Freer, Staff Writer

Coronado is home to many amazing clubs and one of those happens to be Bowling Club!

Bowling Club meets on Mondays and Thursdays at Peak Bowl at 4:15 P.M. and competes in high school league every Monday for ten weeks. League starts November 4th and goes through February at Circle Lanes.

Coach Kuykendal has been running the club for eight years and enjoys “seeing the kids who come back every year and continue to improve” and “seeing the progression from freshman to senior year”. He also loves “seeing how happy and excited the team is, qualifying for state or making it to the next round, or even winning. [That is] fun for [him], seeing their happiness”.

Brian Eicks’,12, favorite part of Bowling Club is “being there with all the people” and the people he has met through Bowling Club have “made [his] experience in highschool better.”Other students should join Bowling Club because “[it is] really fun and interactive and helps [students] get involved with Coronado”.

If you are interested in joining the team or just checking it out, head to Peak Bowl on a Monday or Thursday at 4:00 P.M for practice at 4:15 P.M.!
