About Us

The Cougar Daily, established in the 2015-2016 school year, is the online student-run newspaper of Coronado High School. The Cougar Daily succeeded Coronado’s print newspaper, The Cougar Chronicle. The Cougar Daily seeks to provide timely, useful and informative news to Coronado staff and students as well as the entirety of the D11 community.

Spencer Stepp and Erin Gray serve as the co-editors-in-chief of the online newspaper, and in the 2022-2023 school year, they both also serve as the voices of The Potty Mouth, the Cougar Daily’s restroom-based newsletter.

Mr. Tyler Philipsen serves as advisor of The Cougar Daily and teaches English at CHS.
