Senior Sunrise

Seniors, in order to celebrate the last day of school, come and hang out at the Senior Sunrise, information below!

Senior Sunrise

If you are a senior, then this article is for you! Senior Sunset is an annual tradition for all seniors to commemorate the ending of their school year.
This event will be held on Tuesday May 11th at 7:30 pm. Seniors will meet up for this socially distant event at the first parking lot before the Garden of the Gods Entrance. Since the weather for this day may not be the most comfortable weather, we encourage fellow seniors to bring blankets and hot chocolate in order to make it as fun as we can. Although, if this snowy weather still permits clouds blocking the sunset, this is still a time for seniors to come and end their senior year the right way. As said by many seniors this event is to “set” our senior year with our last day of school. Since the seniors started our year with the Senior Sunrise on the first day of school we want to finish it with a little normalcy, since this year has been anything but, and finish our year with a sunrise together.
If you are a senior and you may be skeptical to come because of Covid, this event is socially distanced and you can stay in your warm car, away from others while still being a part of this event. We encourage all seniors to come, especially since this year has not been the most amazing senior year, we should have some fun events to celebrate us ending our high school days! If you have further questions regarding this event, you can contact any of the senior student council members or refer to the senior group chat! Congratulations senior! You did it, you are done with high school!
