On Sept. 16, the Junior and Senior boys faced-off in the annual homecoming tradition, Peach Fuzz. Because boys do not traditionally play volleyball at Coronado, the upperclassmen form two teams during homecoming and compete for the top spot.

This year, the Junior Team was composed of James Boehlke, James Weaver, Brian Simpson, Thomas Hendricks, Spencer Furgerson, Carver Engstrom, Mark Landolfi, David Ruder, Steven Caspari, and Zachary Taylor. The Senior Team included Patrick Tabrum, Jacob Miszczak, Luke Kellmann, Zachary Miller, Zachary Gerber, Tyler Castellanos, Ty Pochipinski, Brysen Tyler, Kyler Kasten, Ian Struckel, and Stanton Rubio.

The Seniors won the first set 25-12, easily defeating their younger opponents. The second set, however, was much closer, with Juniors in the lead for the majority of the game. The Seniors pulled through in the end and Luke Kellmann, 12, made the winning serve, leading the Seniors to a 25-23 victory.
