Labor Day Weekend Balloon Lift and Glow

The Labor Day Balloon Liftoff and Glow will be held at Memorial Park from September 3-5. The lift-off will start at 7 a.m. and run until 9 p.m. every morning. The Balloon Glow is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday of the Labor Day weekend.
During the lift in the morning throughout the Labor Day weekend, families and children can go and watch the balloons inflate and launch. During that time, you can get something to eat at one of the many food trucks. When asked about Labor Day weekend, Josiah Hobson, who works at one of the food trucks said, “Come down to the balloon festival. There’s a lot of food trucks and so many balloon designs. come down and check out Kokomo Shaved Ice. It’s a lot of fun.” There are so many other activities and sights to see. If you are thinking about it but are not sure if you want to go, Mr. Edmund says, “Go ahead and try it because it’s an amazing experience.”
Come on down Labor Day weekend to Memorial Park; there is something for everyone. If you are up for it, you can even go in a balloon lift!
