Mrs. Bauers at work in the athletics office

Mrs. Bauers has worked at Coronado for 9 years, and sadly to say, she is leaving to enjoy retirement. She has worked in education for 15 years, and will fondly remember her career here at Coronado, especially the day-to-day interaction with the students while working in the Athletics Office. Mrs. Bauers has worked in the Help Center, Business Office, and Athletic Office during her time at Coronado.

Mrs. Bauers said her favorite thing about working in the Athletic Office was “watching our students excel at their sports.” While Mrs. Bauers helped athletes and coaches with the organization surrounding their sports, she learned “patience and going with the flow…You cannot predict your day-to-day, so being flexible is a key component.”

Retirement is going to be filled with peace and fun. Mrs. Bauers plans on a meaningful start to her retirement by traveling and looking for a vacation home, and she plans on volunteering at a couple of organizations here in Colorado. She is also planning on getting back into good mental and physical health and is hoping to pick up other new skills to stay active as well!

One of our most helpful, guiding, and kind leaders here at Coronado was Mrs. Bauers. We are sad to see her leave, but she is planning an active, engaging retirement.
