Animal Rights

Animal rights is the idea that some, or all animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings. To certain people, animal rights are not important. They think, “Animals shouldn’t have rights because they’re not humans and don’t really need rights.” But for those animals out there, animals having rights means everything.

Animal groups like Animal World Protection and Mercy For Animals encourage people from all over to stop animal cruelty and other horrible activities done to animals. The fact is that the government doesn’t have a law to protect the animals from brutal acts in factory farming or other animal related activities.

The Animal World Protection, also known as the WSPA or the World Society for the Protection of Animals tells us that their vision is a world without animal suffering. These activists travel the world and educate young people about the suffering and cruelty of animals and what can be done to fix it. http://www.worldanimalprotection.org/change

A Mercy for Animals section called “Factory Farming Hell on Earth” says, “Pigs, cows, chickens, fish, and other animals raised for food suffer miserably on modern farms. Animal cruelty laws that protect dogs and cats specifically exclude farmed animals from most protection. As a result, blatant abuse is now standard practice on farms both large and small.”

So look up these groups and join the millions of people trying to save our world’s animals. We are the generation for change and with our participation we can give animals the rights they deserve.
