Black Bear Diner Review

Jaidon Chilese, Staff Writer

A few weeks ago the Black Bear Diner opened up at 1340 W. Garden of The Gods Road, where the old Ruby Tuesday’s used to be.

The service they have is very fast and friendly, even when they have a wait, during their busy hours, showing they have a quick and confident staff.

If you like big portions, or eating what you want whenever you want, the Black Bear Diner is a great place. They produce meals out of the kitchen in very large portions, and it is well worth the price. Their prices average around 10 to 13 dollars a person for an entire meal; very fair for the size of proportion and the quality of food. If you like breakfast, they serve all menu all day, so there is never a shortage of options.

The decor is comprised of many rustic and woodsy murals and paintings. The whole place has an out back woodsy feel to it that makes it a relaxing place to be. Their seating is in a comfortable arrangement, and matches the style of the rest of the restaurant. For such a busy place it is very calm and relaxing place one can go to enjoy one’s food.

The Black Bear Diner is an outstanding, and casual place to go, to relax and have a good meal. It is definitely worth a try, and won’t disappoint.
