Coronado’s Varsity Boys Basketball team has endured a troubled start to the 2015-2016 season, but they began the journey to getting back on track by earning a win over the 0-10 Littleton Lions Saturday. After the first period of the contest, the Cougars were down 9-12. Coronado played better offensively in the second, scoring 15 to Littleton’s 16. In the second half, things really swung Coronado’s way. They won both periods 16-12 and 16-15.

Coronado’s high scorer was Joey Callan, 11, with 19 points, and Littleton’s was Sam Kail, 11. Kail brought in 23 points.
