Boys Varsity Basketball – Rampart (12-6) Topples Coronado (2-18)

The Rampart Rams beat the Coronado Cougars in Boys Varsity Basketball on Saturday at Rampart High School. After the first quarter, the Rams were at a 10-16 advantage over the visitors. Rampart fared even better in the next quarter, beating Coronado 8-16. The second half of the contest was a bit better for the visiting Cougars, as they put up a valiant fight to make up for their deficit. The final score of the second half was 35-36 in favor of Rampart.

The top scorer for the Cougars was Ashton Rogers, 10, with 15 points. The top scorer for the Rams was Cal Roberson, 11, with 18 points.
