The first swim meet of the year was a complete success for the Coronado swim team. On March 12^th, they took on several other schools at The Lighting Invitational at 8:00 am. Coronado overall placed an impressive 3rd out of the 10 teams competing. Among the athletes, Ben Topper placed 1^st place in the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Freestyle, along with Greg Shaw who placed 1^st in the 100 Fly and the entire relay team winning the 200 Medley Relay. “It was a lot of fun and the guys on the team are really nice” said Brit Lewis, freshman. Coronado’s next meet will take place on March 15^th against Palmer.
