Anyone who participates in the traditional fanfare of homecoming has a glorious and fruitful photo op before the dance with their dates and groups, and this year, Coronado students have a chance to prove that their photos are the  definitive best. Gone are the arguments over which couple took the best pictures, this will reveal the definitive answer. The contest will have three categories: couples, groups and bonfires; submissions will be sorted into a group of finalists by Cougar Daily staff, then voted on by the readers of the newspaper. The best part? The winners will have their photos featured in the yearbook.

This is your opportunity to show off you and your date’s skills, how well you coordinated, matched, smiled and posed. It is also the perfect time to show how good you and your group are at each of the cliched homecoming poses!

The newspaper and yearbook will be accepting submissions from now until October 12th via email at [email protected] and finalists will be announced on October 14th. Get your pictures together, edited, and submitted to make your way into the 2017 yearbook!
