Congrats to my fellow teammates on an amazing tennis season!

This season has been a phenomenal one with our new coach, Coach Philipsen! Pushing us to be the best tennis players we could be, each of us has improved immensely over the past few months. As a team, we encouraged each other and managed to get five of our seven lines to state!

Our line 2 singles, 1 doubles, 2 doubles, 3 doubles, and 4 doubles all made it through to state! Every line played their hearts out, challenging themselves to get to every ball they could and constantly cheering each other on, on or off of the court. We also cheered with other Colorado Springs teams, which have become a very friendly tennis community.

The entire state experience was one I will never forget. The team grew closer together through playing at the state tournament, and we all had the chance to be positive influences for our fellow teammates. We played our bests, laughed, and gained new friendships. This season has been absolutely fantastic and I am forever grateful I’ve gotten to spend the last few months with this incredible team.

To the seniors:
Timber, Logan, and Sydney, you will be missed! I and the entire team love you so much. You three were the best captains!
