Coronado women’s softball fought hard in two different games during the week of 8/28, taking on both Pine Creek and Rampart.

The Lady Cougars’ first game was away on 8/29 versus Pine Creek, which unfortunately ended in a 20-0 loss for the Cougars. The second game of the week was played against Rampart on 8/31, with a final score of 12-6, the Rams victorious. Though they lost both games, the battles were played hard and the team “had fun” according to Adrianna Harris, 12. In the second game “Nevaeh [Mulberger, 10] and Erica [Encinias-Burkhart, 12] did a double play at second and first” said Harris, recalling a definite highlight. Adrianna herself got hit in the head with a ball when she went up to bat, but a helmet was worn (as is required) so she is just fine.

Come cheer on the team on 9/5  at home against Palmer at 2 P.M.!
