One of the awesome clubs at Coronado is Origami Club, which was created by Devon McClure, 10. He started Origami Club because “it [is] a good way to promote peace at the end of the day” and “teach people that we can bring beauty into our world.”

Devon has been passionate about origami’s ability to connect and help people since middle school and hopes with origami club he can help “people be able to take time out of their day and find beauty.” The club also provides a great way to “meet new people and learn from them.”

Be there to join “a safe environment where people can have fun and express their feelings” as well as learn an inexpensive and portable hobby that “has the ability to really bring people together.”

The club is for anyone and everyone, no matter the experience level with origami. It meets Tuesdays from 3:00 to 3:30 P.M. in room 111, which is Mr. Urban’s room.
