Boys Varsity Basketball – Terrors 89, Cougars 52

The Cougars Varsity Basketball team has fallen to a 1-14 record following a 37 point loss to the Palmer Terrors. Palmer came rushing out of the gate in the first period, scoring 18 and holding to Cougars to just 10. The second period was even worse for the away team (Coronado.) They lost this period by 14, 11 to 25. The Cougars were better on offense in the third, adding 16 points to their score. Unfortunately, the Terrors also slightly upped the ante, as they scored 26. By the final period, the game was a wrap. In this quarter, Coronado scored 15 to Palmer’s 20.

Coronado’s Ashton Rogers, 10, had a phenomenal game, scoring 26. Palmer’s top performers, both scoring 16, were Isaiah Clausell-Reese, 12, and Tyler Pelham, 12.
