Girls Varsity Basketball-End of the Season

Riley Burgess, Staff Writer

With the Basketball season at an end, the Girls Varsity Basketball team finishes with a league record of 1-11 and an overall record of 4-19. The team had a tough year but didn’t do too bad in the state, ranking 220 out of 325. Their last game, against Rampart, ended with a loss for Coronado at 17-62. The team members are happy with how they performed this year and look forward to next year. Team member Ali Hill, 12, said “We did a lot better than we did last year, since we’ve just started and its only our second year in 5A so we are definitely heading towards a better program.” The rest of us at Coronado hopes the team goes far next year and keeps moving forward.

Congrats to Coach Robinson and the rest of the team for finishing another successful season of girls basketball.
