Our baseball team is on a four-game win streak!

On March 16th, our boys played Sandcreek at home, ending the game in a landslide with a final score 12-2.

For Issiah Sisneros, 11, “the most exciting play of the day was watching Alex Bumpus make a diving catch in the outfield for the second out of the last inning.” Sisneros attributed the win to his defense and he stated that “the team played outstanding.”

Also at home, on March 18th, the team faced Falcon, winning with a score of 8-1.

According to senior Chris Bumpus, “We knew we were gonna have to really mesh as a team if we were going to ensure the win, and everyone needed to do their job. And that’s what we did.” Bumpus recalled the best part of the game as, “the third and fourth inning where we got bats swinging and really opened up the score.”
