Boys tennis has had a great season thus far! Starting off their second official week, the boys played Palmer Ridge on Monday, 8/27, at home. The Cougars dominated on the court, winning 6-1 as a team. The boys continued their winning streak on Wednesday afternoon by defeating Fountain Valley 7-0. This year’s #1 singles player, Reilly Fredell, 10, said,“This week showed me that we have a strong team this year, even with some fantastic freshmen. I am very excited for this season, we started off very strong this year.”

The team was grateful for Wednesday’s game to be over, as their season has been busy. In the last 2 weeks, the team has played multiple scrimmages, matches, and even played in the Air Academy Kadet Kickoff tournament.  The boys are grateful for a short break after playing 7 games in 9 days: their record being an outstanding 6-1 so far!

This week, the guys have games on Tuesday, 9/5, and on Thursday, 9/7. Come support your Cougars this season and best of luck to men’s tennis in the coming week!
