Men’s varsity soccer’s season remains strong with a current record of 5-7 and a league record of 1-3. Their big game against Palmer on Tuesday, 10/3, was a great win, concluding with a final score of 4-0 in Coronado’s favor. Kevin Claudio, 12, Edwin Hernandez, 12, Diego Rodriguez, 9, and Tyler Wright, 9, all scored a goal in the game against Palmer and Coronado goalkeeper Kayden Bradley, 11, had 6 saves. Claudio said “In the first half there should have been a lot more communication. In the second half we were talking to each other, calling for the ball, making runs to open up, and we played like a team, like brothers.”

Though the Cougars have lost against Pine Creek, 2-0, and Doherty, 5-1, Hayden Field was the player of the game against Palmer and Edwin Hernandez was player of the game against Pine Creek.
