Boys’ soccer had an exciting 4-0 win against rival Palmer on October 2nd, breaking a 4 game losing streak for the Cougars.

 

The four goals were scored by seniors Weston Rubio, Hayden Field, and David Martinez, as well as sophomore Eric Thomock. Seniors Dylan Baumgarte, Jesus Yepez, and Field as well as junior Dakota Gordon had the assists.

 

On the defensive side, senior Andrew Klein and Thomock each goaltended for a half and achieved a shutout, with Klein clocking 3 saves and Thomock saving 2.

 

Senior Hayden Field says, “Palmer has always been a big rival of ours. So we came into the game focused and ready to play and ended up getting the result we wanted!”

 

The Cougar’s next game is a RED OUT against Doherty at Garry Berry on Tuesday October 9th at 7 pm. There will be a tailgate before the game in the park next to Garry Berry at 5 pm where they will be selling hot dogs, chips, and a drink for $6. There will also be giveaways at halftime!
