As it was a painless win for the Lady Cougar Varsity Soccer team, Palmer was not so lucky. With a 10-0 win on Tuesday, the Cougars worked well together as they shut out and shut down any chance Palmer had to score a goal. Hannah Burgess (12), Amelia Herman (11), Daniela Parra (9), and Lauren Strizich (11), each scored a goal at the game as they continued to rack up the score. Juliana Geronazzo (11) scored two goals and Isabella Janney (12) scored a whopping four goals during the game. Amelia Herman was also selected as the player of the game with her goal and three assists as well.

Isabella Janney gave her take on yesterday’s game as she was “really proud of how [they] worked together as a team and [they] worked well at passing and had some great shots. [The team] also had good sportsmanship against the other team.” Overall, the Cougars had a great game against Palmer and are excited for their next game against Woodland Park at Garry Berry, starting at noon. Get ready for another victory this Saturday for the Lady Cougars!
