Calling all future lawyers!  The 2017-18 mock trial season will soon be in session.  If you are passionate about public speaking or legal drama, mock trial will satisfy your inner lawyer and give you an excuse to argue on a professional level. This rigorous club will allow you to rehearse with attorneys at the downtown courthouse and Public Defender’s Office, and will help you acquire the skills to analyze and present a relevant civil or criminal case.  Whether you hope to feud as a lawyer or deliver the testimony of a witness, mock trial is a valuable and uniquely realistic experience.  No prior legal expertise is required, just a work ethic and a drive for dispute!

The team’s first informational meeting is scheduled to be Thursday, 9/14, right after school in the library.  If you are not able to make it, drop by Mr. Anderson’s classroom (room 219) for information.  Hope to see you all in court soon!
