It’s a bird, it’s a plane…No, it’s just the senior class trying to make a deadline!
Senior Awards Night on May 14, 2026, in the Coronado auditorium, was a night to remember with various awards including Cougar-of-the-Year Award, Red and Gold Award, and Athlete Scholarship Award Winners Kallea Cote and Thomas Buckmiller. Arranged by Coronado High School’s very own Vice Principal, Matthew Baldwin.
According to Mr. Baldwin, “The turnout was excellent, a lot of the family turnout was good as well. We had about 130 seniors [attend], which is half of the Senior Class. A quite a bit of work went into it. A lot of the work comes from the counseling department, but Mr. Lobato is the showrunner and does logistics, while Mr. Crosby and Mrs. Doyle are more student-based, like contacting colleges for scholarships and cords. Overall, it was a nice evening for graduates and their families.”
