Comics, cosplay and collectable toys, these are some of the many things that fans gathered for at the local event, Toy and Comic Convention. Thanks to the sponsor “ 501^st Legion of the mountain garrison “ and the host “ Embassy Suites “ comic fans of Colorado springs can come together and enjoy the company of various enthusiasts.

The convention is the place to be if you have an interest in old, new or rare toys. Many toy collectors bring their valuables to trade, sell and browse the large arrangements. Whether its anime, superheroes or anyone’s favorite show, there are toys and collectables to be found everywhere. One of the popular themes is Star Wars. There are old collector’s items, from when Star Wars first came out and many of those items were a big hit for Star Wars enthusiasts everywhere. There were also collectables from the famous fantasy worlds of “Game of Thrones”, “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”. Shows like “Sword Art Online”, “Attack on Titan”, “RWBY” and “Kill La Kill” were some of the anime that made an appearance in the props, toys, and costumes.

Every good comic convention will include diverse and creative cosplay. Fans will engage in creating costumes with their favorite movies, shows, anime, comics and games. Costumes from DC, and Marvel Comics, Star Wars, Assassins Creed, and various others can be found at this convention.

Of course comics can not be left out. All types of comics, manga and graphic novels can be bought or traded for, from superheroes, to the fictional world of LeyLines. There are old collectors comics, and new custom comics based on shows, movie and games. Custom, and and fan made comics, can be found in many varieties and styles, and based of shows and games, like Mortal Kombat, Star Wars, and other cartoons.
